Abstract. Today, practical experience in educating children with autism spectrum disorder shows that various teaching models must be developed and implemented to maximize the educational rights of these children, tailored to their abilities and potential. Children with autism spectrum disorder often experience communication difficulties that are usually linked to impairments in social interaction. They may struggle to indicate things that attract their attention and face challenges in understanding the emotional states of others, as well as in imitating and replicating actions. The issues in preparing children with autism for school include the peculiarities of their sensory sphere, as well as selectivity in choosing clothes or foods. The effectiveness and duration of a lesson depend on how successfully the teacher can engage the children's attention at the beginning of the class. When preparing children with autism for school education, the more familiar actions the teacher uses, the more confident the children will feel. The article discusses effective methods for preparing children with autism for school education.
