Abstract. this article analyzes the role and significance of athletics in the physical development of primary school students with disabilities. Athletics activities contribute to the development of physical qualities such as endurance, speed, agility, and strength. The use of individual approaches, differentiated methods, and pedagogicalpsychological support improves both the physical and psychological well-being of students. Based on experimental research, the article proves the positive effects of athletics on students with disabilities. The results show improvements in social adaptation and increased self-confidence. Future research will focus on further improving methodological approaches
