Abstract. Didactic games play a crucial role in enhancing student engagement and
learning outcomes in elementary school classrooms. This study investigates the
effectiveness of integrating didactic games into lesson plans and explores their impact on
the development of critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Based on a
four-week experimental study in a primary school, results reveal that using didactic
games significantly improves student motivation and academic performance. The study
concludes that such games are an effective pedagogical tool for fostering a collaborative
and interactive learning environment.
