Natural foci of zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis are located mainly in the deserts of Middle Asia. Foci of anthroponotic cutaneous leishmaniasis have developed mainly in those areas where zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis does not occur[4,5].
